"Kaylene Evans"

Kaylene Evans holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Northern Arizona University with viola, violin, and piano as her primary instruments. She specializes in the Suzuki Method Philosophy with supplemental work in Music Mind Games. 

She has 10 years experience teaching Preschool through 8th grade music classes at Concho Elementary. These classes included Music and Movement, Suzuki Violin, Piano Lab, Guitar, Ukulele, General Music, and Chamber Orchestras.  Before that, she taught Suzuki Violin for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade at Marshall Elementary for 2 years. Besides teaching at public schools, Kaylene has taught private lessons since 2007.

Kaylene is also the Principal Violist for the White Mountain Symphony and has been recognized as a Music & Arts semi-finalist for the Music Educator of the Year Award. 


Besides teaching music, Kaylene enjoys reading, board games, video games, and hanging out with her husband and animals.  She has 3 dogs, 4 cats, and a rabbit.  Kaylene's favorite foods are artichokes and chocolate (but not together!)
