Prenda guide

As a prenda guide I engage your children in interactive learning experiences, encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and regularly evaluate your children's understanding and progress through quizzes, tests, projects, or other assessment methods. I help to identify your children's strengths and weaknesses and can provide additional support or enrichment activities as needed.

Tutor

January 2023 - Present

I have a passion for education and by using a personalized approach and a commitment to student success, I will be offering tutoring after school. I will use this time to help your child understand the subjects that they are struggling with. I will find solutions for them to better understand how they can achieve their educational goals. I want to help students reach their full potential, and sometimes that means spending a little more time 1:1 with a tutor.

Home Educator

September 2014 - Present

I have homeschooled my kids for 9 years. I was able to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment at home. I put a lot of time developing my children's character, instilling good values and the importance of empathy and kindness. I have learned that letting my kids follow their interests and letting them discover the things that they are excited about has helped them develop a love for learning. I let my kids learn at their own pace and discovered that they had different learning styles and by understanding those we were able to educate them in a more personalized way. Homeschooling is a very different lifestyle than most are used to, but I have cherished those years and feel so grateful that I was able to have that time with my children.
